The power issue on the 16's doesn't surprise me. When we replaced our 2011 Rav with a 15, same engine, the "normal" setting on the transmission felt like we had dropped about 50hp. Toyota tunes everything now with mpg in mind, not power

I'm going to wait a couple years until they tweak a few of these glitches. Or just get a Tundra.....

This. Lots of great ideas/improvements, but piss poor execution overall, feels rushed, smashed together.

As you wish. It doesn't protrude outward, it protrudes upwards. It looks like BMW forgot it and last minute stuck it up in the dash. This is the current model. It was much more integrated on the previous version of the 3 series. And no, it doesn't retract.

If you saw that, or the similar ones in Audi's or even Mazda 3's they don't as look as aftermarket as the base Tacoma.

It looks wholly aftermarket. It's as if the literally just set an iPad mini on the dash.

This truck definitely needs some 33 BF KO2s. That will help minimize that gigantic schnoz! Wish I had that interior in my 2010.

I feel like the third gen should have been 300+ hp and probably forced induction... Something similar to the ecoboost.

For those who have driven the 3rd gen, does the drivetrain vibration exist? Swears stated they finally fixed the issue, just wondering if that is a true statement or along the lines of the seatbelt bracket statement.

I totally forgot when I drove one the other day to try and feel it. Maybe it's not there because I didn't notice it.

I agree with most everybody the power off the line is lacking, but it rides smooth maybe a little better than the previous gen, when new. I really like the interior, definitely an upgrade from years past. It had jbl which is nice compared to non jbl. It looks better in person but at some angles you still try and make yourself think it looks good. I drove a white dcsb off road. Was 38k and not sure what it was missing to be a limited but I liked it overall. I really liked the LED cargo lamp and the non existent antenna. And other little features that I can't think of off the top of my head.
