Anyone got some bumper caps to go with the glassworks fenders I'm getting for my second gen?

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
Here's one from the race last night, got a few dirt miles on the new kit and feels really good so far! Wish I had made it out earlier to put more then 30ish dirt miles on it! image.jpg

hey I got another question for ya guys, im taking my bedsides off and just gonna run without them until I pay some of my credit off and I can pay for Fiberwerx bedsides. But my question was, I got most of the bolts off and was just wondering since I ran out of time today that the bumper and tailgate need to come off to get the fenders off correct? what about the filler neck? im assuming that just pops right out of where the gas door is?

That's gonna look worse than having stock ones and you will be giving the cops one more reason to pull you over. I second leavin them on

main reason im not worried about the fenders is that looking at the lift laws in Florida...they dont have anything for fenders other than commercial vehicles are required to have fenders and mudflaps. but thanks, im gonna be getting the fenders soon...just waiting on Rock auto to give me my refund back and I need to send my core Rack and Pinion back and I should be good to order the rear bedsides. I just hate being here on the east coast...fucking $300 in stupid shipping....so instead of $550....im paying $850* to get them...ridiculous

Shoot I would try uship or fastenal before paying $300 for shipping, who is that through? I get its fiberglass and big and bulky but damn. I ran my truck with no bedsides for a week or two while waiting on my glass but not for very long, it does look pretty beat without it

im not sure who it was through, thats how much the chick at Fiberwerx quoted me...she said I could have said money if I bought fronts and rears together and shipped them together....but I need to get things paid off before I drop any other money. I wasnt about to drop $1300 on fiberglass.....but like I said, im not worried about not having the rears, I just want to be able to offroad and not destroy my perfectly fine factory fenders when my 35s compress lol

Maybe my Flordia geography is a little fuzzy. Been about 6 years since I've been in Pensacola/Panama City area. But where in the hell could you possibly "destroy" your bedsides out in that area?

Also, no judgement, but there is there's this new fangled notion of "planning" you can try to work into the future of your build. It can tremendously help with the whole "spending beyond your means" enigma.

oh no it's good, im in no way spending past my means, im managing my credit lines and getting things paid off. My truck had been the same for almost a year and a half and I was tired of sitting stagnant lol, so I got my tires, front fenders and new exhaust. So thats why im not particularly wanting to spend almost another $1,000 just to get rear fenders when I can just take the rears off for a month or so until I get the funding to get the rears. I also have a DSLR and Xbox One im paying off as well. So things are slowly getting paid off, got auto payments going and I do big manual payments every 2 weeks.

My tires right now are probably about 2" or so from making contact with my fenders in the rear out of my 5" of available up travel, so.....not much room to play with. But I also havent tested them offroading yet so Im assuming the worst right now. I already have my fronts on and just need to do a clearance check, which atm im only rubbing the cab mount slightly.

oh im sorry, i didnt feel like dropping $800 cash on an outlet to fuel my boredom when im not working on my truck or at work. There is also this nice thing called credit that im working to establish as well since ive only been living on my own for 2 1/2 years, in which I had 0 credit coming into the military

I had came in here wondering how to get the bedsides off since my Haynes manual is useless and after hours of scouring the net and TW, the one writeup I found had 0 pictures. So I figured id come in here since majority of you LT guys have glass and have removed the besides and know what needs to be done. I didnt come in here to be berated on my finances or what I want to do with my truck. If you want to pay the $850 to get me my rear glass...then by all means...then you can tell me what Im going to do. Thanks.

Why not just hold off on off-roading until you get the bedsides?

Maybe Fiberwerx will give you special layaway option since you still have payments to make on your Nintendo 64?
