The immobilizer chip has nothing to do with your remote. When you add the remote, are the locks cycling once to indicate you entered programming mode and then they cycle once again to confirm programming?

Yes, the locks cycle like they're supposed to which is why i'm confused to why it's not working. The immobilizer chip was the other problem, I just listed them together. Sorry about that.

The remote will lock/unlock the doors while i'm still in the truck, but as soon as I get out it's like it loses the programming.

The chip like it say on the list does not program with the procedure listed in video. Ive never heard of anyone doing it until today..(socal noob) Email me for the remote issue and I'll try to solve that.

Oh okay, I had planned on that I had to take it somewhere to get the chip programmed, but looked at his and saw that his worked so I gave it a try and it didn't work. So back to square 1 on that one, i'll just have to take it somewhere for that. And alright, email incoming.

I just tried a transponder key that I have to just unlock the doors. I put it in the ignition and the car/key icon was still blinking. I tried to start the truck with same key and it would not start. So yes I have an immobilizer and yes the "4D dot Transponder key program" video worked on my 2007 4x4 Tacoma DC TRD. In fact I had 2 transponder keys that were not working and after I programed my new All-in-one key, I programed 1 of the non working transponder keys and now I can start my truck with that key as well. That video work for me with no issues.

How far exactly in the procedure do I need to go? am I just seeing if the light comes on after I do the door thing?

You go the furthest you can...you don't have a new key so you go to where you remove your key. light should go solid, this indicates programming mode.

Guys. I had no issues programing the remote lock/unlock nor did I have any issues programing the transponder/chip. Here are the instructions I used for the remote part of the key.

    1. Start with the key out of the ignition. Open the driver door (all other doors are closed). Driver door is unlocked (other doors don’t matter).

    2. Perform these steps within 5 seconds

    a. Insert the key into the ignition (don’t turn it) Pull key out

    b. Insert the key into the ignition (don’t turn it) Pull key out

    3. Perform these steps within 40 seconds

    a. Close, then open the drivers door.

    b. Close, then open the drivers door.

    c. Insert the key into the ignition (don’t turn it) and pull it out.

    4. Perform these steps within 40 seconds

    a. Close, then open the drivers door.

    b. Close, then open the drivers door.

    c. Insert the key into the ignition and leave in the ignition.

    d. Close the drivers door, Turn the ignition to ON (as far as you can go without cranking the engine), then back to off .

    e. Remove the key from the ignition.

    5. Within 3 seconds, the power door locks should lock then unlock automatically indicating successful entry into programming mode. Return to step 1 if the locks do not cycle at this point.

    6. Perform these steps within 40 seconds

    a. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the transmitter simultaneously for 1.5 seconds

    b. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons, press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds, the door locks should lock then unlock once indicating successful programming. If the door locks cycle twice, repeat steps 6a and 6b as the remote was not accepted.

    7. Open drivers door

No one is saying your lying. We are trying to figure out how this was possible. Might be something specific to your year.

No worries. I was just trying to be clear as to what I did. Like I said I wanted to pay it forward.

He has changed his website. Instead of buying direct from the site I believe now you have to contact a distributor. I'm sure you can PM him or he will chime in soon. Great product!

Couldn't get it to do anything. 5th key leave in, close door 6 times, pulled key out and the little car light blinks like normal... 07 4x2 DC TRD Sport

Why did I stop selling online?

I was getting returned about 50% of the items I was selling. Main reason was people could not find someone to do work. They refused to cut and programmed because they would tell customers the keys would not work.
The few "locksmith" that did try didn't seem to know what they were doing. Some of the people here will tell you it was a headache to find someone who would do work and who knew how to do it properly.
The shops that will be selling item I have verified they have the proper equipment and knowledge to do a perfect job.

I will continue to mail out keys for the next week BUT I will not provide return service if you can't find someone to do work or someone messes up. PM if you need one.
