The sensitivity meter here is sometimes running at 11. California is in a bad place right now and there are a lot of people who have lost everything or know people who have let everything, so I can understand the sensitivity at the moment.

That said, Dereck isn't a douchebag.

    10/10 would agree

Now that that's out of the air OP's truck wasn't stolen so I see no need for this thread anymore. Peace out.

I didn't say you were any of those things (or intended to imply), or took a juvenile shot. I was just relating what I experienced on another forum in the second paragraph as the reason for me being a bit cranky and jumping the gun. I was implying the comments over there were those things. And with this one thread as context it would seem like I'm making it a bigger deal, however in the context of the all the posts made on this forum I can say it happens all the time and it gets very tiring.

So let me set the record straight and hopefully we can move on: no offense intended and I don't think Tascomer is any if the things mentioned above. I apolgize if I was unclear.

Going forward if anyone (not pointing fingers at any one individual) has a nit to pick w/California why don't you articulate a reasoned argument with facts, if you can, rather than dimwitted remarks? If that's not challenging your intellect too much...

I wonder if you have any "Southern Blood" flowing through your veins, 916carl? We sometimes have a little bit of a hair trigger like that. :crapstorm:

signs are posted as being a fire lane, so in that respect i can see i was in the wrong. but there were no fires and i was only blocking my own garage, so to have it towed with not so much as a knock on my door is just plain dickery IMO.

I did live in Alabama for a time when I was a kid. We raised chickens (a LOT of chickens) commercially. I also lived for a short time in Georgia and South Carolina while in the Army... :infantry:

Anyway, apologies also to the OP for the derail.
