Yeah state population is about 600,000 now and pronghorn is near that. I don't mind the jokes about Wyoming. It's a beautiful feeling driving through a vast "nothing" and seeing herds of Elk run free. I couldn't imagine living somewhere without access to public lands. When I need my city fix, I go to Denver or Ft. Collins. Short drives.

Back to topic. All the local dealers in Socal have inventory. Some of them have it on their website as the first advertisement. I doubt they are priced to move at the moment, rather they are trying to capitalize on "all new."

Why so many DCLB in 4x2? I wanna see a MGM DCLBTRDOR (FTMFW).

I had a dealer admit to me yesterday that Toyota just sent the pricey Tacomas to the dealers first, so it'll be a while before they get SR5s or any cheaper ones. After looking at the $36k and $37k price tags I told them I'm just not paying full size prices for a mid size truck.

Luckily you are the first one ever on this forum to make the observation that the Tacoma prices cross into full-size territory. I am sure Toyota is going back to the drawing boards now that you brought this to light.

Just depends what you want. Even if a full size was a bit cheaper I still wouldn't want one.

Yeah, people seem to think that just because something is smaller and less powerful that it will be cheaper. Not always the case.

I am indeed. With a Gen 1. Hoping a gen 2 or gen 3 will tow it substancially better. Does alright until I hit the grades.

17 ft Freedom Deluxe. I love it. Not too big, not too small. Lightweight. Inside is insulated with a nice carpert on the walls. Has indoor/outdoor shower (great for mountain biking trips) and is the perfect size to take it to some remote locations where a huge trailer wouldn't dare go. Like a Toyota, these things have crazy resale because they last so long. Bought mine from a man who had passed away after only taking it out twice. His daughter gave me a pretty good deal with the stipulation that I would send her pics of it on my adventures. Nice lady.

Very awesome. Unfortunately, I will be unable to afford one after making this new Tacoma purchase. For awhile anyways.

Well, I can't afford a new Tacoma after my Casita purchase haha. I just paid it off but I need my bank account to rebound a bit before I can get a new Taco. When you do start looking, check out this website. They consolodate all the Casitas (and other fiberglass trailer brands) onto one web site. http://www.fiberglass-rv-4sale.com/casita-trailers-for-sale

So I just drove by local dealership in PHX looking to check out their inventory. Online showed they have 7 or more available. Couple of sales reps came out and said they were just told to pull them all off the showroom and off sales lot as they are not for sale. They said they were not given a reason why. Thought this was peculiar. Wonder if there is already some kind of recall issue popping up or if it has to do with residual 2015 inventory being backed up. This was at Camelback Toyota in Phoenix AZ for those interested.

Weird. Maybe they wanna hide them so they can sell the 2015's first like you said.
