Not new to the site by any means but this is my first post. I've had a couple tacomas in the past and just went from my 2001 ex cab prerunner to a 2008 reg cab 4x4. I'm most likely getting bilstein 5100s. I measured today and the rear sits a little over 3" higher than the front. Do you guys think that the 5100s could level it out good?

Welcome! The bilstein 5100's should get you pretty close to level plus they are adjustable. I've never had them, but in my own research and from what the other members say, they are a good choice.

That's what I was thinking. I wasn't too sure though. The truck used to tow little boats so I was guessing they added something for the towing that made the rear stick up a little bit more compared to other ones I've seen
