And avoided what I think was a big mistake. As I almost bought 2006 access cab I4 auto. It only had 43k miles but also rust issues:

I came close to buying it last Friday but the owner would rather plant food plots for deer than sell his truck. Worked out for me because late Friday afternoon I found exactly the truck I wanted:

2006 Prerunner Access Cab V6 Auto (didn't care if auto or manual) with the TRD Offroad package. It has many more miles at 143k but was $2k cheaper and what I wanted. Super clean with no rust anywhere. The PO had a stack of service records including just spending $900 a month ago replacing the front brakes, alternator, oil change and transmission fluid change. Great tires and nice aftermarket radio but otherwise stock, which is the way I like it. No big plans for now. I would like rock sliders for the simple reason I want a step bar type thing for the short girlfriend but I don't like how most step bars sit low. Yes I know it's the purpose but I want the look and willing to sacrificing slight functionality.

Probably that the owner would rather spend time with food plots than contact the interested buyer about the truck...

Exactly. He is a long time friend of the family and has been bugging my little brother to find him a 4x4 and help sell his. And decided to plant food plots on that day instead. Worked out for me though.
