So I have a 1996 Toyota Tacoma LX (3.4 V6, Automatic, 3.91 Gear Ratio, 2 Pinion-Limited Slip, 8" Ring Gear) and it has 245,598 miles on it. The only thing that has ever been replaced is fluids (Obviously), starter, and heater core. It's has tune ups and stuff and I am replacing the U Joint's today (Moog). What all should I replace before I get a suspension lift and stuff before I go off road. It is mainly going to be mudding but the occasional crawling but nothing serious. I am also replacing the inner/outer tie rod ends to (Probably Moog).

how's the ball joints? and you may need to re-gear from that 3.91 otherwise the powerband will be horrible (if you're getting bigger tires)

Get a set of rock sliders, recovery points and some skid plates and wheel it stock!

@frizzman I currently do not know the status of my Ball Joints. They have never been replaced so I am assuming it wouldn't hurt. They don't make any noise so I believe they are good but I do not want them to mess up whenever I go off road. That is what happened to my Inner Tie Rod Ends which I am replacing by the end of the week.

@slander I have recovery points at the front and I would love a set of rock sliders but don't know which ones to get. I want to lift it some though haha
