Cut the rears if you really want, but I'd just wait. Mine were already cut, so when I went LT in the rear I just cut more. ( after the tires crushed the fender )

    This is how mines looks:

Does anyone have any advice on solid mounting lowers? Yes I have heimed uppers. Since the truck is down because of motor mounts, I figured that I may as well get another replacement rack from jotozone and solid mount my lowers

just got a simple lift on her
why hold off on off roading, when you can just take them off?
i may be a little different than most, where i need desert therapy at least once a week.

ill do 4 hours of work just to go out for a few hours, knowing that i will have to do hours more of work because of that.

because he wants to go offroading.....

because he doesn't want to destroy them...

and yes, it could ruin your fenders and start to gouge your tires if you mash hard.

At least you are working on building credit.

I have always had a well paying job as a young kid, so I was always able to pay everything in cash. Now when i actually want to buy a house, I can't because i never financed anything. so now i have 2 credit cards and have to have credit lines for at least a year before i can even start to do anything.

i agree with others that maybe financing a gaming system wasnt the best, but who gives a shit. like you said, it's your money that you worked hard for. spend it how you wish.

i would take off the fenders and go wheeling, if you are rubbing. :)
    haters gonna hate.

Dude just take the flares off and a simple trace tool with a sharpie. Go get everyones favorite tool the sawzall or cutoff wheel and cut the fuckers. You're gonna replace them anyways so who cares if you hack them up. It'll look fine that way and WAY better and also LEGAL with them just trimmed.

Also, while you have that sawzall out cut that stinger off the front bumper. I'm sure it wont be getting any use on a 2wd truck.

yes, DONT run without a crush sleeve, bushings will be destroyed quick. LSK makes a a great kit that i used to run, comes with everything you need for a second gen and new bushings.

Take it easy everyone. Especially in the LT section you'd think folks would be aware that trophy trucks are 2wd and/or would keep their ignorance to themselves. *shrug*

Just go with delrin bushings. I've been running them for several years without issue. You do get a lot more road feel out of them, and TC doesn't advise them for a street truck. I also have heimed uppers.

Edit: Do you mean gusseting the alignment cams? If so I just tack weld mine. Pro tip: You can't just center them even with heimed uppers. Push your LCA as far forward as possible (max caster). Rakes it out like a dirtbike so when you hit the face of a whoop you don't deflect as much, you sort of pitch front to rear like a boat. It also gives you more room for big tires at full stuff.
