Hello all ! Not a owner yet but have it narrowed down between two, first is a 2012 TRD Off Road DCSB in Spruce Mica with 17,700 miles and the second is a 2013 TRD Off Road DCSB with 29,000 miles on it in blue.
If all goes well I should have one in my driveway Tues. I am trading in my 2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty Larriat so a bit of a change but wanted something easier for my little cutie to drive. I found this site about 6 weeks ago and have learned so much here that has really helped me decide which model I really want. Before coming here I didn't know the difference between the SR, SR5, TRD Sport, and TRD Off Road. Started with search of area dealers (within 100 miles) and kept narrowing it down finally came down to 6, 4 Sports and 2 Off Roads but the rear locker and those two colors helped me decide.
Guess the only question I have is there any difference between the 2012 and 2013 ? I couldn't find any but still learning. Last Toyota I had was an 1986 reg cab 2wd 4 cyl and 5 speed and was a great truck for what it was.
Just want to say hello and thank you all for such an AWSOME site !!!
    Mike

I think the 12s have the backup display in the RVM, and possibly compass and exterior temp there as well. If all else equal i would get a 12 over 13 for this alone. Welcome and good luck

I'd go with the '12 solely for the color. Pretty much the same. Good luck.

Well went this morning to the dealer with the 2012 Spruce Mica that I like but the sales manager that has to apraise my trade in will not be there till tomorrow which I can't figure out why that don't have anyone but him that can do it but oh well. Anyways I talking to some of the salesmen and one said he thought he knew me than asked if I was the guy with the Ford Model T's ? I told him I was and he told me the dealership owner wanted one of mine and wanted to know if I would be willing to try to work a deal out trading one of those in ? Oh well going to go get one out of the barn and load it on trailer and take that and F-250 in tomorrow morning and see what I can do. Almost went to the other dealer with the blue 2013 but kinda digging that Spruce Mica. Oh well will try again tomorrow and will let ya know.

Didn't come close enough on the Model T but did do the deal on the F-250 and will be picking the Spruce Mica up on Friday !! Have to go out of town 5:00 am tomorrow morning for work and coming back late Thursday night so deal is done and bought and paid for as of today. So does anyone want a Model T ? Bunch to choose from, lol. 6 of them here and getting rid of 4 or 5. Want pics of new truck or the T's ?

No Frontier but when I started looking at trucks I was really surprised how much more used Frontiers dropped there value compared to the Tacoma's. Hard to trade in a truck that is only one year older but alot more truck but did alright I think. 2011 Ford F-250 ext cab Super Duty Larriet for a 2012 Tacoma and the worse part is the fuel mileage is about the same, 19 miles a gallon all highway with the Ford. Thank you everybody for all your help.
