I just bought a Reinell open bow 19'er. With trailer it weighs 2700-2800. Here's my issue, I've got a 2014 base model tacoma 2wd. It tows it with no problem(except, I could use a trailer mirror extention). Im worried about retrieving the boat off the launch. I've seen too many YouTube video to know I don't want to end up on one. Any feedback would be great. And if somebody could fill me in on the auto LSD. Thanks for your time fellas. And may god bless the triple deuce of the 10th mnt division and this absafuckinlutley great nation of ours.

    I don't know anymore!
Stay away from the seaweed on the ramp and watch other people to see if they have problems. Kinda gauge their truck and load in comparison to yours. As a back up, I carry a piece of firewood to chock the rear wheel in the event tires start to slide. You should be just fine.

Here is an important tip, that has worked time and time again for those questionable launches.

--When your ready to pull out of the ramp and the boat is winched up, use the boat motor to give you an extra push out of the ramp. This method doesn't require much throttle, just enough to get your rear tires past the questionable area or obtain better traction. Remember to trim up the motor and shut it off once out of the water.

Enjoy your time on the water without worrying about the ramp!

I have an 18ft regal with 2wd. I have never had a problem at any boat ramp. One of our local ones here is really steep too. I have found that a good set of mud tires, I have KM2's, and some skinny pedal helps ALOT.
