Got it done today.... Kind of. Drivers side steering arm or whatever that rod they use to adjust the toe was siezed. So I need to get it broken free and go back and they'll touch up the alignment for free. What numbers should I be looking to get. 255/75/17 5100s set at .85" w/ sport coils up front. TSB rear leafs.

Wow... that is one of the laziest alignments I've ever seen done if the before and after are truly before & after. Looks like they basically did nothing other than slightly adjust your toe. I hope you didn't pay for that.

    Your target is: 0, 0, & a caster of 2.5

And no, 1.0deg positive is NOT a zero camber. I hate the window of acceptable settings as the extremes are too far away from ideal IMO. Sure your vehicle will get down the road but at 1.3deg camber you'll get some funky wear regardless of what the paper says.

Ok so when I go back after I square away the tie rod issue. I should ask to get as close to 2.5 caster, 0 camber, and 0 toe? I don't think the shop will have an issue with it. This is why I asked. Thanks man

so i sprayed some PB Blaster on the tie rod nut and threads for the last few days, and nothing happened. hit it with some heat and they popped free. now they can be fully adjusted. i think i will head to alignment shop tomorrow so they can finish for me. what are my goals with this truck. castor of 2.5, camber 0, and toe 0?

Ideally yes. If the camber isn't close to zero, the tires will wear on the outside edge. For racing purposes its ideal to have a degree or more of camber because in turns the tire will straighten out when pushed. Toe, close to zero, also to prevent tire wear. Caster, as much as possible, because that's one of the main things that helps the truck go in a straight line and not Wander.

i has wear on the outter edges of my last set of tires. so i'll ask the guys to try and dial it in better as well as the toe. i hope i can get the castor out to 2.5 or so as well. should i be able to ask for specific numbers like this? the last tme i brought it in, they seemed to just be looking to get within spec, which really isnt good enough for me, i want it to ride better, not wander and get some more miles out of my tires this time around

Here are my new numbers. They said this is the most caster they could get for me without messing up camber I'm npt buying it but It drives fine. I'll drive it for a few weeks and see how it does. If not I'll try another shop
