Long time lurker, first time poster...

Question: What color are the wireless power door lock and unlock wires on the driver's side step panel in a 2005 DCSB 1GRFE Taco?

I have been trying to install the Pop N' Lock - PL 8540 so that I can have key fob control over the tailgate. I have checked the factory wiring diagrams but unfortunately I don't understand them for the simple question I am asking.

The wiring instructions from Pop and Lock lead me to look for a blue and blue/pink wire...of which there are many blue wires and so I'm not sure those are the answer.

I have seen other year Tacos with picture install instructions and they all lead to different wires.

Any expert help would be much appreciated.

DesertDunes...I tried those wiring colors to no avail, the blue/pink in 2005 was for L turn signal. And when I wired to that color the tailgate would unlock twice in sucession w the turn signal lights that happen when the key fob unlock button is hit (the normal signal from outside taco that lets you know the fob was pressed) , thats how i knew :( thanks for the reply tho
