Just wondering what I should offer on a 2013 Taco, TRD Sport, DCSB, V6 4l 4x4 and all that in grey. Kilometers are marked in at 70,000. Used from a dealer,
I'm up in Canada if that helps.

Not really looking for something super new, but nothing older either. So I figure a '13 is not bad.

out the door price, everything included (plus some winter tires, haha)

Where north of the Trump wall are you? Out west here the dealers don't budge much, the market for used tacos means they can get their ask or very close to it without waiting too long

What's asking? You should probably expect to pay 27-28k for it, is it a fresh arrival or a lot queen?

At a different location than my town, has 1/4th of its life in kilometers on it already, if not more than 1/4. Asking is 32,999 CAD before taxes, etc.

70k is more like 1/8 than 1/4, offer 26 and stick to it, if they won't budge below 30 go look further south. I'm assuming your up near Terrace or Smithers? try Kamloops/Kelowna, look for the beginning of the rig pig sell offs from AB. 33k is way too much for realistically, a 3 year old sport with 70k on it that sells for 36 new.

Preferably 26 out the door for obvious reasons, but 26 w/o tax is likely a lot more palatable to the dealer, will push you to about 28.5-29k after taxes and transfer fees. It also gives them an idea on where you want to be for their counter offer, pretty clear "it's not worth 33k, but I am interested under 30" signal.
