I always see people talking about that lift, haven't read too much into it. What's the hype over it??

Went on a pretty cool adventure with my pops @THROTTLE231. We started the day off with driving through Afton Canyon, then we went over to calico to go check it out. I'd say it was a very successful day. Found out how my truck worked in 4x4in and just off road. I have to say I'm highly pleased with how she handled and drovehttps://vimeo.com/135825723426f95da135c20c101fc102c0d9d7e82_5485cf7abdb7841e6eb48c8b42f46577280c8af7.jpghttps://vimeo.com/135825794f803c910723e0b56fb2ba3186eb73465_fdb101b666c885e5ea68312ed19fcf2c63aaad30.jpg7a1eb14c6e6334da0f10839c9c5045e0_1333e69bd1e329884478a814beb9a1689099b8d8.jpg848565740c966b3fd48420c45db9c43f_db6e095aa1eea3a8e2e1e36509c82da79e174faf.jpg414cf6609b3d5d6855c88df545671358_cbf93cac0bd007074c3bfe5e2f4f7429bff95a91.jpg0a62193031395b4ca385a2bcda39d86f_1540b31b7f50296de94faecbe191f2c349248931.jpg110f15a843371bd1a15bd045fe408551_369e67b8e6660cd46aa72871d4c46ba81bcec600.jpg2cf074ce635bdd2db855e1e968d895a2_5b8b87976c5c76e4a8fb1e806f653d1f1eaf4490.jpg143d06aa8d24dda1ba9385faab5936b1_c30d225b48a5d41e50cf34dc50a1e5583066ca03.jpg4fe1819aa587f9821f83f4dcb28972b8_12bcedbdd1a0e985043865a87e51c8fb321ba9ab.jpg

No hype really, it's just a proven kit that a lot of folks are happy with. It seems to be a good balance of quality, performance, and cost. You're not spending thousands of dollars on high end suspension (Icon, Fox, etc.) that, while may be absolutely incredible, you may not want/need/be able to afford.

Good points there. I read up on it a little more and it does seem like a good kit for the price!!

So it's been awhile since I have done a update!! I haven't really done much besides drive lol. But I did buy some Dirt King UCA'S, and some King shocks for my lift!! I'm looking forward to getting everything installed and seeing how she will look after. I will do the install in a week or two( with the holiday coming up, won't have much time) then I will be buying some new tires a few weeks after. Then I will be doing a lot more trips and there will more pics to come! 83cfc6ebfddde61feb236c70b4ce23ea_c7c4b15b49be3ef164d9a7af0e96e1dbe35b8130.jpg

But progress started today on the taco!! Here's a couple photos showing the before and afters and what it looks like now. I still have to jack the drivers side up about a half a inch to compensate for all the weight. Going to try and get some tires later tonight/ tomorrow. I'm going to get some bfg ko2 285/75/16 !!

Here's a better picture from today! Made all the right adjustments. Passengers about a 1/8th of a inch higher. Going to drive it a little to see if it settles. But other that it's almost exactly how I want it!! Love my truck, I'm glad I made this purchase

Thank you!! I'm loving the set up. Yea I never wanted to do it in the first place, but my pops wouldn't let me leave without doing it lol. That's a great mod!! I'll for sure do that before I do any more water crossings. I'll have to show my pops so he can do that to his as well

Very nice. How's the ride on the Kings?

Have you done anything to the rear yet?

Kings ride great!! Very smooth over bumps on and off road. I wouldn't go with anything else personally. I haven't done anything to the rear yet. Going to save up some money then do it. I might do the factory replacements for the rear, then go with a bigger shock with a shock tower. But weighing my options until that point!

So I thought I would post this just to show the transformation of when I first had her untill now. Since it is "transformation Tuesday" lol. It still blows my mind on how great she looks!! I got an alignment done today. They did it perfectly surprisingly lol. Pretty good deal at Firestone. $170 for a lifetime alignment. Take it in how ever many times you want to, no hassle!! 19bd1da21ef1b49d90aa3ee0503adeb2_d307a9408f4bc26237f397eede3416f5575e1e1a.jpg
