once there is a remedy how hard will it be to get a appointment with a dealer to actually fix?

i'd imagine the shops will be busy for a long, long time

I got the new leafs put on my 09 back in 2010 under the previous recall. I just got this letter also. Does that mean I will need to get my leafs replaced again?

I got that letter last year have had the biggest fight with the dealership. Mine broke and Rubbed my brake like Raw. They told me they would replace it with a factory spring. I've waited two months while they try to find a factory leaf spring. I've been without my truck for two damn months. I finally had to find a wrecked truck to pull some off of, had to take it to them and still have to sign disclaimers so they'll let me have it . Biggest crock of $hit I've ever seen.

    The better coast
Remember Toyota isn't just going to make new leaf springs.....They need test them which takes time.....so there will be a waiting period. They just want to give you a heads up about it.

I'm pretty fed up with Toyota and this bullsh!t on these springs. They want as many as they can to be junked or otherwise removed from service before they actually decide to repair these trucks. I call bullsh!t on Toyota
