Hey guys, I am looking into a used Leer XQ, and the seller says it was clamped on with C clamps (it was already on a used 2009 he bought). This concerns me a bit, but I am sure I can get the correct clamps if necessary from a local dealer. I haven't had a chance to go look at it yet, and won't be able to until this weekend.

I'd like to see close up pics of your Leer XQ clamps as professionally installed.

These are the ones that the dealer installed mine with. I'm not sure if different dealers use different clamps/fasteners.

Interesting, the hardware securing my Aero shell to my truck are "C" clamps.

Nice. Thanks guys. That's what I thought after doing a little research last night, but I could never find them applied.

I did find this, however. About 1/2 way down page. If the local dealer tries to mark them up ridiculously, I'll get these:
    http://www.truckoutfittersplus.com/store/topper_parts_clamps.htm#clamps

It seems a total of 4 (not 6) are required, correct?

Those are the ones I have and I have 3 on each side.

Follow up: I stopped by a local Leer dealer on my way to go check out the used cap, and they sold a set of 4 for $24, so that was a better deal than the online source even before shipping.

LB Leer caps take 4 clamps.
