Hey tacomaworld i have a question about my front coil springs. I installed bilstien 5100 on the 2.75 in lift setting and kept my stock coil springs. Did some wheeling and they worked just fine. Well recently I installed a plate bumper and its HEAVY. My front end is sagging a little with the stock springs. I plan on eventually getting a winch up front and fear the stinkbug stance will get worse. I have found some OME springs #2288 rated at 660#. Will this work with the 5100 and get rid of the stinkbug and allow me to maintain that stance with a winch? Thanks all

You want the 886 or 887 springs. The 886 is a beefier spring, but some feel it's too stiff even with winch and a bumper. The 887 is a bit softer, but longer for a more supple ride at about the same height in your application. Full disclosure: This is not my personal experience. This is info I've read on TW and in other research. Others with actual experience will hopefully chime in.

So with the heavier springs and the 5100's do i need to move the clip down to stock? Or do the springs offer lift?
