I have gone to 2 different dealers. Only deal with Fleet/Internet Sales. The dealers are not willing to budge off of MSRP for the first few months on the 16 Tacoma's. So we will see how it goes the first week of Sept when I pick up my new DCLB TRD Sport.

I see, what options you have now and good leverage on your part if looking to get rid of the Raptor. Not being able to go around the bridge isn't an option for the tacoma either... they go under the bridge if a snorkel is added. :D

I called around dealerships within 200 miles radius and all of them said they won't get any 2016 tacoma until late sept.
One of the dealer close to where I live is offering $3200 off MSRP on any 2015 tacoma they have on their lot. They have over 10 DCs.

So I just cancelled my order for the 2016 at the original dealer. Used an auto-broker who can get one that is EXACTLY the same, less the tube steps, and has a build date of 9/8. That's only 4 days later than my original one's build date. And........... $1400 off MSRP! I was gonna trade in a CR-V to the broker regardless. Then he said he does new vehicles all the time, and can get an allocated one from another local dealer. It's all confirmed. CYA MSRP.....no way. And this broker is awesome. He just sold a used Jeep for me for $31K when the dealer offered $22k trade-in. I will never use a dealer again, other than for service.

Just checked with my order today and mine is 9/16. Not quite as late as yours but not one of the earliest either.

Got my order in today but I won't know if it went through until the end of the week because they had to cancel a truck that was already on allocation to get mine. I'll probably have a early-mid October build date

I found the broker through a friend who has told me for years to stop buying at dealerships. Now I believe him! Mine is Ryan at Milehighcarhelper.com.
