Hey everyone...I have a 2010 TRD Sport and tow a boat trailer that needs new tail lights. Has anyone put LED tail lights on a trailer, and figured out the best 3-to-2 wire converter? Everything I can find seems to be designed for vehicles without existing wiring harnesses. Looking for simplest way to convert from stock 7-pin to 4-pin connection as well as converting to 2 wire.

    Thanks!

If you need new trailer lights and want to go LED, just replace the lights, hook to original wires and you should be good to go, I have done it and had no problems.

Yeah, I don't know what specifically you are talking about. My snowmobile trailer is all LED lights and I just put LEDs on my boat trailer. No changes to harness or converter needed.

I think hes asking about a convertor yo go to a combo turn/brake instead of separate turn brake and doing led at the same time.

No convertor needed for the led, curt/reese/hopkins all make light convertors for the combo.
