After reading trip reports and seeing all the adventures taken place on the forum, I have really been considering going on some trips during the summer. The only problems is, I don't know where to go. So thought this would be a good place for people to post trips to go on/places to see in the midwest....if there is any. Lol.

So If there out there lets see them! Share where you have been and tell us where we should go!

Ditto. The only thing in my area is the Two Rivers Jeep Club. But the trails they go on are pretty good. All privately owned though.

Kentucky.....Land Between the Lakes State Park. There you'll find Turkey Bay Off Road area between Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake in the western part of the state. Also, look at Black Mountain Off Road park near Harlan Ky. If you have the time, do BOTH, and hit the distillery tours at all the bourbon distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail while driving from LBL to Black Mountain. This "trail" is all paved roads, but well worth the trip! Make it a full week in Kentucky!

    Bad Lands near Attica Indiana.

I'm part of a few groups around here. Check out Midwest Off Road Group on Facebook. They are probably the most active Toyota club.

There's friends that want to go all the time but when we actually plan a day, time, etc..they always back out; every single time  But that's probably because they are Jeep owners.. :bananadead:
