If you are in the market for a 2016 Sport, would you consider Quicksand as a color for your truck?

Quite a few people seem to think a few of the color options are "too much" on the Sport alone. As I mentioned earlier, you have to see it in person, in different lighting, and angles to appreciate it.

It's only until the end of October, I would wait. I always mentally picture test drives as people doing what you shouldn't do during break-in. Maybe I'm neurotic though. In any case, I'm having to wait until February to buy one when I get back to U.S.

I vote wait. You are going to maybe get 1/2 of the $ of those options back if you can remove them and sell them. Then agin this post is past your deadline ... wht did you decide?

I decided to wait and would rather not burn money on plastic. The dealership head sales manager was a snobby, pushy douche. Something I don't want to remember when thinking about the buying experience. I'm going to give my money to the least dishonest, least douche salesman.

I like the quicksand for others, but it's not my style. It's nice they have a nonmetalic color

Wait...so you're saying your opinion isn't the only valid opinion in a thread? And someone who may have different wants, needs, or ideas, is still a smart person, and nor inferior??? Blasphemy.

Totally agree, love the quiclsand yself, get why some hate it. I'm the exact opposite on inferno and bazing blue, couldn't ever do it myself, but people like uniue options, others like simplicity.

Agree.. But I think the way it's going, Quicksand will end up being more unique than the Inferno.. I like the Inferno more on the 2nd Gen, the 3rd Gen not so much..
But man as soon as I saw the Quicksand on a TRD Pro Tundra, I was sold...

Are you basing your assumption from information in this thread, or have you gotten opinions outside of the forum?

Well not just from this thread but the forum in general, and also from asking other folks in person.. it just seems like this color is not the most popular.. Doesn't really matter to me though.. I like it..

I want to see the inferno up close and in person. It looks like they added red to it. The pictures of the 16' do not match the pictures of the 15' TRD Pro's I've seen.
I really like the TRD Pro Inferno. It's hot. What I hate about the inferno in the 16 is that it is now available in models that are not TRD Pro. I hate when manufacturers make something exclusive to an upper level product, then later on make it available to lower end products. It reduces the quality of the upper models that used to have that exclusive color. Bothers me.
So I'd get inferno, but only in a TRD Pro.

Saw a Tundra TRD Pro the other day, twas drooling.

After knowing the prices of the 16's. I should have ordered a 15' TRD Pro when I had the chance.

Saw an inferno in person over the weekend, OR, looked much better in person than pics. Still too loud for me, but a good looking truck.

Agreed. Probably saw the same one as you actually. Looks great! But probably to loud for me.

Like the Quicksand so far, but really need to see one in person.

Saw it at Malone. They had one quicksand DCSBOR, basically my truck with wrong bed on the lot and dealer called me to see it right after PDI, as it was being picked up that afternoon. It was one of the cloudy days last week, looked darker in the flat light, like wet sand, perfect match to the black accents. Really want to see it in full sun.

Oh, didn't realize you saw a quicksand too. I saw the Inferno OR short bed there over the weekend. Didn't see a quicksand. Sales guy I talked to said they weren't getting any more OR's in til later this week or so...

It was earlier in the week, like I said, gone the day it got there. Saw the inferno this past weekend, there was also a Barcelona sport but I didn't get out of the car for that one.

Ah, it all makes sense now.

Hope you get your truck from them soon!
