Hey guys, I've got a really good deal on some 35 12.5 r17's if I want them. The Tacoma (2005 TRD sport) is new to me. Previously I've had 1ton ford diesels so this is all new to me. The Tacoma has some rancho adjustable shocks front and back and it looks like the fronts have a spacer of some kind above the spring. My question is what would I need to do to fit 35's and is it worth doing? The truck is my daily driver but sees regular use on gravel roads, mud and snow. Thanks for any help.

Unless your Taco has already been beaten really hard, the fact you had to ask that question should make you take a pause before considering making the necessary mods. Not trying to be mean. Its just a caution to think long and hard first.

Thanks guys! That"s exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for. Like I said, new to the Tacoma and with my other trucks could've just bolted them on and forgot about it. Seems like getting a good deal on the tires won't justify the work and expense of fitting them. Especially for a daily driver.

Trimming for 35's hope it's enough... Let me know haven't tested yet. Before the trim ripped my fender off.

    Yes sir
5" lift? Pretty sure you can fit them with a 3" lift and trimmed fenders along with obviously cab mount chop and no mud flaps no?
