I thought old gas I had stored in my garage was causing my truck to hesitate, jerk, like a bump, lose acceleration until I floored it. I added 15 gallons of stored gas and the next day this started, at least 25 times in a 2 hr drive. That gas is gone, I put premium in and added a gas injection cleaner. Also had a new fuel filter installed, still jerking, hesitating daily, but not often. Nothing is showing up on the diagnostic machine.something has to be wrong, that the dealership can't find. Any ideas friends?

I wouldn't have put premium in, but I doubt that's contributing to your problems.

You added 15 gallons of questionable gas. How much gas was already in the tank when you did that? How much gas was in the tank when you filled up with premium?

You might try resetting the ECU and seeing how it drives.

Hang on, better help than me will be along soon.

    Thank you for responding!
When I added the old gas, the tank was almost empty, so close to 17 gallons. When I added premium it was close to empty, so 17 gallons of that.
    What is the ECU?

I'm a women but I could probably have done that, but I let Sandy Springs Toyota hook it up to that machine and nothing wrong showed up.
