First I have not been here as I should. So if you don't help me, that is understood.
2012, 2.7, 4x2, auto. LOVE the truck. My second, first was 2009 SRD same setup. Site is outstanding, I found that out with my 2009, sorry I have not contributed on the 2012. My problem God Father (LOL)
Truck is perfect 22500km. Take it to local garage for basic brake service, front caliper clean & Lubricate, rear drum clean out assess. $Can $95 plus tax. First drive 104km steering wheel vibration, 110km, steering vibration, 120 km No vibration. I'm concerned.
Take it to Costco for free full 4 wheel balance on new defender tires with maybe 10,000 km on them. Drive truck to 100,110, 120km, and sadly steering wheel vibration. I am not happy.
Do I go back to garage that did two serious brake jobs on other vehicles for me satisfactorily, or do I go to dealer, tell him my sad story. What do you think? I feel Toyota is a must. Cost is not a factor. I went to independent garage for convenience. Thanks sincerely for your help.

You need to make sure the wheels are road forced balanced, machine calibrated and someone that knows what they are doing. I had a 2012 and 2014 with
these issues almost right off the bat finally gave up on the Tacoma's.

Using power steering fluid with too high a rating will cause the steering wheel to vibrate. Don't let these guys tell you differently.
