I wish there was a sticky for all the fees and fee acronyms that are added onto invoice.

What other fees (except tax) are added to the invoice price? I know there is a destination fee, a doc fee.....

Depends on the dealer.....Here it's just a Doc Fee of $349, plus $300 Taxes and $55 Title

Destination is in the MSRP on the Sticker and should not be listed independently as an addition to the Negotiated cost.

Your taxes are cheap, in TX it would be $2,275 in taxes for a $35k truck.

Thats going to be close to $38K. Could go over depending on what other assrape fees are charged. TRD Offroad MSRP + destination fee and no other options is $35K

Thats why I am able to sell a 15 to get a 16.....Don't have the $5000 loss in the tax bill combined..Making the deal impossible to justify

I think your MSRP is invoice pricing on that rig
    $31249 7544 TRD OR 4x4
    $ 2074 Premium Tech HH
    $209 Weather Mats
    $60 Exhaust tip
    $95 Mud Guards
    $579 Tow Package

    =$34266 INVOICE prices

$34206 Invoice Plus $500 (includes Doc Fee) =$34706 Plus Tax Title

    Or $35206 Invoice plus $1000

I think $35,000 is doable but you HAVE to get a good number on your trade. I would take it to a CarMax and see what they would offer. Anything over $21,000 Actual Cash Value would be a good trade number.

Your truck plus $14,000 or less would be a pretty good deal

Let me know how far off I was......

An other thing to remember always try to make your deal at the end of the month. That's when you get your best deal! It always works for me. Good luck on your new purchase.

Those great EOM sales we hear of are only if the dealer NEEDS THAT SALE to make some kind of bonus. Then they will sell THAT PARTICULAR DEAL at a loss to make the sale However, If they are five vehicles away and its 8PM on the 31st, they would rather it count towards the next month and move the sale to the first.

A lot of good happens in the last week of the month only if the dealer is close to a bonus. You can always check their sales board to see how close they are to the previous month.

But yeah its better to go at the end of the month because we never know if our sale will be the one the dealer needs that month....

Any sale made in any particular month applies to their bonus money. You won't know if it's your deal or the next guys that trips the bonus money gates. Best to just make the best deal you can and if not good enough walk...if they let you go You will know yours is not THAT deal....

Makes sense. So they are 3 sales away from the next bonus, they might be giving the next 3 buyers a deal.

Yeh if they have three or four deals in the box along with yours, Everyone may get the below invoice pricing....Only your feet will be able to tell

They can tell if it's the 31st at 6PM if it will be possible to get the bonus money so will you know by their insistence you buy and take delivery right now....
