What's your budget? You can spend 200$ on a spacer lift for looks, or 5k$ or a mid-travel set up. Or over 10k$ on a long travel or SAS.

2 inch lift. LED fog lights (Cali fab) Alpine head unit. Kicker door speakers. Skar subwoofer.
Suspension lift.. Worth the money. I would look on peoples build threads on tacomaworld and decide witch one you like the best.

    Welcome to TW.

Why 3"? What size tires do you want to run? What is your budget?

You can always do it like I am-----make every mistake in the book, beginning with trying to go cheap initially with a spacer! Or-----you can cut to the chase and take out a second mortgage :D and buy an Icon lift kit and be done with it. Me? I'm still screwing around with 5100's trying to get to 3" with springs, just spending good money after bad.... Some of us never learn. Good luck.
