ok so my mom is buying my dads mustang off of me for 5,000 so she can sell it to get money for a new car. I already have 31's on my 02 taco an i was just wondering what i could afford. im getting OME suspension right off the bat so there goes 2,000 between parts and install. after that a trail bumper and winch. good plan?

2000 for ome....not in this world. like 800 and install it yourself hella easy. trail gear bumper and winch is like 1500. make sure ur maintenance is up to date before modding it so it lasts.

Maybe I'm missing something... why is she buying your car again to sell it? Why doesn't she just go buy a new car with that money? And why would you be getting the money if its your Dad's Mustang? Maybe I'm reading too much into it. Anyway, buy the suspension and save the rest.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    This :D

V6 regular cab would be badass. They made them from 95-97 but are hard as hell to find. Why they didn't continue making V6 regular cabs is beyond me. Every other compact/midsize truck manufacturer except maybe Nissan did. Dodge Dakota even had a V8 at one point in time. I think regular cab sales would have been much better had they kept the V6 option available and maybe regular cabs would still be around.

I thought the same thing. Why would you get money for selling a car that isn't...Oh, nevermind.

I put a new suspension on my 2004 and love it. Toytech springs, 5100s and Dakar leaf pack. Like others said, ~$1000 for the suspension and start saving for a new truck. Just my .02.

$5k ALL in led light bars!!! Lol. J/k.
Suspension. Maintenance. Make sure everything's up to par like sensors and tune up stuff. bushings. Anything you can get your hands on. Recovery gear. Jack. All those goodies. Maybe a roof top tent?:D And, seriously, maybe a light bar or two. That's my plan anyways. Already got the lights tho.
