Hello, I'm new to this forum. I ask if anyone else in the Northeast has done the corrosion spray (undercoating) recall sponsored by Toyota?
I had my 2008 Tacoma done and have concerns if it will ever dry. It was done about 4 weeks ago, and while it has finally dried to the touch it remains soft underneath. I called the dealership and was told it takes 30 - 60 days to dry.

First thing I noticed when it was done is the undercoating was very thick, dripping wet, and they sprayed everything frame related, and I mean everything. It skinned over in about a week, but remains soft and "squishy" underneath, and it would likely get on your clothing if you were to work underneath the truck, changing the oil for example.

As far as I'm concerned it's a mess if it never dries completely, and ask if other owners have experienced the same thing and if the undercoating will ever dry.

    Thanks in advance,
    Bill

It eventually dries. I was concerned originally but stopped looking and the next time I went to change the oil it was dry.
