FEELER. 1992 Corvette Bose speaker amps

I do not know if this is exactly the best way to start advertising these. Some of you might own a C4 Corvette, or know people who do, but here is the story.

Some of the C4s had a Bose system where an engineer thought, "Golly, wouldn't it be neato to put the stero amplfiers on each speaker INSTEAD of in the head unit?". Well, his boss was also probably stoned and said, "Yeah, that is a great freaking idea!".

Well, these amplifiers to fail eventually, like mine did. Searching some Corvette places it turns out the Bose replacement amp is around $150 EACH! Being poor, I was reduced to proping my Samsung Galaxy up in the cup holder in order to listen to music while driving. It mad me sad.

My neighbor is an engineer that works on crap that I barely understand. He asked me to pull the whole speaker unit out so he can try to see what was wrong with it. To make this long story short, he re-engineered that amplified on the speaker. Using my Corvette as a test base, he dialed everything in and we now have a working amplifier, and a reduced cost.

Here is the deal, do we want to bother marketing it to other people? While the prototype was all handmade, we would need to send the design off to be built in larger numbers. What I would like to ask all of you is, do you, or a friend, have any interest in such a device? Please feel free to post or PM me. We need to get a final cost on the"per unit" price, and would probably offer a small discount to people who order more then one.
