My passenger seat back rattles pretty much whenever I hit a bump if no one is riding up front. My friends 99 TRD did the same but my truck only has 2700 miles on it and the seat back is noticeably more loose on the passenger side than the driver seat. Is this a Tacoma thing?

Because PreRunner, it's the truck gods making it shake so you trade it in for a 4x4 and wheel it

Luckily my headrests and door panels don't rattle (yet?) but the passenger seat thing is annoying. Oh well, they're reliable trucks, right?!

Just for fun remove the passenger headrest next time you're driving around. I thought mine was the seat itself..ended up being headrest.

Damn.....my Mexican Taco is completely rattle and squeak free.....but only 5K miles on it. The only noise I've had at all is a very faint driver's side door seal rubbing sound when the weather is cool. Silicone spray seems to have solved it.

One thing I loved about my 2 RC Tacos was the bank-vault like interior. Just rock solid without a noise to be heard. A lot less sh!t to rattle around.....unlike the Access/D cabs.
