So far this is the best I've been able to get with these KO2, 265 x 75 16's.

Not bad at all. My hwy mpg averages between 18 and 21 but I rarely achieve 20 or more tbh

That's still very impressive mileage, VintageFast. Better than I've been able to get with my completely stock TRDOR. My best tank, city/hwy combined, has been 19.014. Congratulations! Way to keep your foot off the accelerator. From my understanding, about all we can do to increase mileage is keep RPMs no higher than 2000.

I've never seen 19 mpg with my stock 01 DC V6 with 265/70/16 Goodyear Wrangler All Terrains with Kevlar. Even driving like an old man I only managed to get 16.8 mpg

how are you calculating your mpg? americas tire says the original tire size was 225/75/15. meaning that 265/75/16 should be going further/faster (since it has a longer travel per rotation) than the computer/speedometer thinks it is.

I have gotten 19 once, with 285/75/16 BFG rugged terrains with 30psi rear and 35psi front. All highway miles.

At fill up, I divide miles on the trip odo by the gallons I put in. I drive mostly highway for my commute. Usually I'm at around 18 mpg combined.

hmmmm. what's your stock tire size supposed to be? 265 x 75 16's size travels 8.28 ft per revolution. but if your stock tire size was smaller, that would mean your truck thinks it's traveling less than your new tire size is taking it. unless you changed all the tire size/ratios in the ECU to calculate your new tire size. so you may be getting a couple of miles more per gallon if that is the case.

actualy my stock size was 265 70 16 and when i had that size the spedometre was reading nearly 3 mph off at 70- i.e i was going 67 mph it said 70...

with 265 75 16 it reads dead on according to my GPS...it may just be my truck but i think ive seen where others have noticed the same. either way i'm just fine with it!
