Hey guys i've found a few ways on how some were to control their drl either with a switch or grinding down that metal piece on the module. I want to go back to amber lights but don't want to melt my new headlights (i've melted one before).
For now i have led's but over time my load resistors kept on breaking and my splice connector cut through my turn signal wires. So now i'm stuck with hyperflash. Or is there any bulbs with built in resistors like on retrofitsource.com but they note it may cause hyperflash.

Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Doesn't help, I'm in canada. There is no tsb or recall for it. We don't have one for the leafs or frame rot either. And i'm using aftermarket headlights with retros, they melted the plastic hole where you plug in your turn signals. I'm getting new retros with tyc headlights and don't want that to happen either.

DRL's are mandatory equipment in Canada, not optional like for our friends to the south. Just an FYI.

And depending on the model year, there is indeed a Canadian version of the frame corrosion recall. Mine is included.

I run my resistors in the rear of my truck with no issues and if you're using the right taps they can't cut the wire even if you tried. I'd suggest you still use the LEDs and a resistor in the back, it will keep the engine bay neat and no one would see the resistors.
