hey guys, just recently had a set of 265/75r16 cooper at3s mounted on my stock steelies. My truck is lifted 1.75" from my 5100s. Today while I had my truck parked,on flat ground, I noticed that the back sidewall of my tire was very close to my UCA. I stuck my fingers back there, and the space was about the thickness of my middle finger. What kind of space is ideal back there, and should I look into some spacers. I'd really like to not ruin my new tires!

A finger thickness to the UCA is plenty, you won't ruin your tires.

Thanks @landphil, I wasn't sure of how the clearance would change with travel

Check at full turn. That's where you'll be closest. Running 265/75, I never rubbed. My 255/85 tires rub the UCA at full turn. There's a nice clean spot on each side where the paint rubbed off.

UCA or knuckle? My 265 70 17-inch hit the knuckle and I had to get spacers; not sure where 16-inch will come closest to knuckle or UCA. You should be OK unless you plan to air down. Keep an eye on clearance while airing down.

You are OK. But, see that little protrusion on the knuckle? That's where most have fit issues. That's where you need to keep an eye if you air down.
