Anyone ever go from a 3" adjustable coilover lift to a 6" drop bracket lift. What do you like about it? What dont you like about it?

Ive been thinking about going this route. I currently have icons ET CO and dont offroad as much as i though I would have. Ive been thinking about going with a 6" and buying some 20x12 with 33x12.50.

Ive read that DB are garbage, i have nore ground clearance now than what i will with the DB, blah blah blah.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

this site will do everything they can to shit on a drop bracket lift. Ive had many on previous vehicles, never had an issue. Do what you want to do.

Started the thread to see if anyone did the switch. I havent seen any info about the switch and if its worth it.

The bad thing is i just bought my suspension and wheels a few months ago. So there would need to sell everything. Uca, co, rear shocks.

I'll be the first to pinch off a loaf: get a solid suspension lift with coilovers/leaf pack if you want to go off-roading, go with the 6" DB lift if you want to look cool at the mall.

Nothing wrong with a db lift. If you are going to do it just do it right and stay away from the rc model. Go with rcd, zone, bds which are some of the better ones out there. I've had db lifts on several trucks and no issues.
