Just picked up this '03 Tacoma Single Cab Stepside SR5 PreRunner. It was a 1-owner, 36K original low miles, pretty clean, California car, no rust, automatic trans. Everything works as you would expect.

So....now what? Stay as is or make some subtle mods or updates?

    Some thoughts:
    1) Needs new tires. On craigslist, it appears I can by 2015 tacoma take-off's, wheels and tires for about $600. Would it be a crime to put on the new wheels?
    2) Would love to put in a little sound deadening
    3) Suspension - very bouncy (yes, i know its a light truck) Anyway to tighten up?
    4) Any 'key' things that someone like me should do now? know issues to get ahead of
    5) Would it be a crime to add the fender flares from a non-SR5, you know the black ones, more pronounced?

Happy to be part of the community...thanks in advance.
