Ok, sorry for bringing up an old thread but just to add to the mix what is the AZ-005-TM vs 001-TM. What is the difference between them? I see on ebay and Amazon that these appear to interchange. Thanks

Just picked up the 04665-04070 for $33 from Amazon warehouse in like new condition. Probably a return. Not bad considering they are ~$90-$100 now.

I called around to a few dealers and apparently these are the ones that came with our trucks from the factory. The newer ceramic ones are replacements for the semimetalic ones when they became too expensive for Toyota to make money off them.

Almost bought these but noticed they were mostly for 4runner and tundra. Any fitment issues? Nice that these come with shims also for about half price of other oem

I was reading through this thread to see about pads, but i noticed that your spring was installed incorrectly. Don't be surprised if it is now missing. Needs to be wrapped around the slide pin.

I’ve heard the AZ001 line were introduced to be more closely priced with NAPA, Advance Auto, Etc. I would go with the non AZ001 part number- the OEM

Since we’re posting in this zombie thread recently. Should I get the 04070 for $77 or the AZ001 for $50 with the squealers?
Or something from the parts house.
