    Hi all,
I have a stock 2009 tacoma prerunner and it currently has 16" wheels and I want to upgrade to 17". It looks like there is space but I'm wondering if I'm glossing over any details. If you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated .

I would think no problem at all, assuming backspacing and offset work. The stock 17" sports would work without issue i do believe. More will chime in I am sure.

17s work fine, as mentioned above the sports have them.

If you wanted to stay at your stock tire diameter, get 265/65/R17.
If you wanted to get 1" larger than stock (which will fit without issue, though might rub on your flaps depending on offset) get 265/70R17.

When buying new tires stay away from the E-load tires and opt for C-load or P-load for optimum mpgs.
