I called Weather Tech today about the availability date for 2016 Tacoma floor mats/liners and they indicated that the items would probably not be available until January at the earliest. The person on the phone indicated that they usually have a 12-16 week development and production setup time for a new model car.

Are these mats for the truck bed? If so, I have the toyota mat. Its pretty nice, fits perfect. Seems to be great quality. I think $120.

All season mats and floor liners. Gen 2 bed mat fits in a Gen 3.

this is completely up to WT IF the floor has changed. otherwise if it hasn't changed it will take about 4-6 weeks to officially be on the website. easier if you just have a 2nd gen that has the WT test it out on the 2016 before they buy it.

ran into the same issue when I bought my 14 4runner, same interior but it still took them 1-2 months before they officially had it on the website.

Screw WeatherTech anyway. Their mats suck. My rear mat curled, warped, and rolled up along the edges within six months.

Husky mats for the win . . .

Has anyone tried fitting Gen 2 floor mats in a Gen 3?

I prefer WT over husky's. only reason is due to the side walls on the WT go up higher than the Husky's for my 4runner. since I deal with snow 6-8 months of the year, that sidewall coverage is more important to me.

    Mats or Digifits ?

My Weathertech Digifits were the first thing I bought for my truck almost 7 years ago and they've been great

I bought the Digifits for the 2nd row of my 2015. I didn't know WeatherTech existed until I came to this website and took advice on buying them. At that time, there already was a "WeatherTech vs Husky" crowd. I was unbiased, so I chose WeatherTech for the rear, and Huskies for the front.

Night and day difference. The Weathertech material is thinner, stiffer, and exhibits some sort of residual stress from their forming process. As such, it deforms over time, with the most irritating aspect being the rolling edges. I took the family to some sand dunes a couple weeks ago, and more sand ended up beneath the rear floor mats than on top due primarily to the mat edges rolling up and away from the door sills.

" . . . sidewalls on the WTs go up higher than the Huskies" . . . yeah right. Not for long.

Maybe they used to be different, but the ones I purchased in March 2015 are already in the garbage. I was so pissed off I didn't even call and try to return them for a replacement. I wouldn't want to try and sell it to another unbiased individual. I figured I'd end the cycle of shit replacing shit.

Bought mine off Fleabay from Weatherfail for like 180.00 or something like that. Ripped them out a few months later and pretty much gave them away. Junk, if I want curls. I will go get some Cheeto's curls.

I have no issues on my WT curling in my 4runner, rav4 or camry. but then again I let them sit unfurled from shipping inside the house for about 1-2 weeks before I put them into the vehicles.

to each their own I guess :)

Which version of the WT's are you having the issue with? I have the Digital fit and have had no issues.
