Hey everyone, just figured I'd share my thoughts on Pinnacle Natural Brilliance Souveran Wax. I must say that this is hands down the best wax I have ever used. It spreads extremely easily and wipes off with little to no effort. Also you can cover a large area with hardly any product. I bought the 8oz can but they also make a 3oz that's reasonably cheaper. The shine and depth that this creates is amazing, you really have to see it in person to appreciate it but it's something else. Took me only an hour or so to wax the whole truck. The nice thing is that you don't have to let it sit, just apply and wipe away. Unfortunately it rained the day right after I applied it but I got to see how it beads water, and it really does a great job. I had my truck parked outside for a while and it accumulated a lot of beads of water on it, as soon as I started driving it all just came off in a sheeting motion.

I started with Meguiars 205 on an orange Chemical Guys Hex Logic Cutting Pad, then followed it with the wax.

Thanks! And yeah it's definitely on the pricey side, never thought I'd spend $100 on wax but being a guy who loves detailing I had to see what the hype was. They also make a $60 can and they have promotional codes on the pinnacle wax website

I used a coupon but had to pay $20 shipping to alaska so it was still about $95. Better than no coupon though!

You should! Even the 3oz can for $60 will give you a lot of usage. Also it smells really good!

Damn OP that's a nice truck. Black is such a love hate thing. I made my wife promise me never to allow me to get black again. It's not because I don't know how to look after the colour because I do, it's just that I'm anal retentive and have OCD when it comes to my vehicles. It's to the point where if I have black, it must always look like your truck does in the photo.

    Nice work.

Thanks! And oh yeah I know how that goes. A quick wash turns into a full polish and everything and then you never hear the end of it lol

Pretty much. When I had my black 2012 Golf GTI I spent EVERY sunday washing and waxing the damn thing, that included doing the engine and all the door jambs as well. Once a month I would clay bar it and start the whole process over again. It always looked mint but it was a lot of work and with kids.....:angrygirl::annoyed:

My Tacoma is white and although I don't have to spend as much time on it after the wash, the wash itself takes just as long as on a black car. The thing about white is you can't get away with not using a paint brush between all the body panels because dirt builds up between bumpers and fenders and in all the jambs. I'm not sure which is the lesser of the two evils.

Still, black is my favourite colour to own because when it's clean and the paint looks like the paint on your truck....damn, no colour looks better.

I had a customer who owned a black Ferrari 348 and a black Testarossa, had me wet sand and polish both of them to get the orange peel out of the paint....looked like glass when they were done but holly shit.....THAT was a lot of work.
