This is likely a simple thing, but it has me stumped. I have a 2015 AC with the basic touchscreen HU. In the settings, under audio, is a box to check to show album art.
How the hell do you display it? It won't show using USB or bluetooth. The art shows on my HTC One android phone when playing music, I have placed it in the folders on my thumb drives, but nothing works for me so far. The display art box is checked in the settings.
Is this something that Toyota includes in the settings, but in fact it doesn't really work?

mine works when the album art is a .jpg and in the same folder as the music.

in most folders the art is simply named "cover"

I gave up. I tried everything I could. Placed art in different folders, jpeg, png formats, renamed files... Nothing. Maybe if I used a new CD. Most of mine are from the dark ages

What kind of media are you using? USB, CD, Bluetooth? If playing off the usb or cd, when you play the same usb stick or cd in a computer from Windows Media Player, does it show the album art? If not, then you can tag the songs with the album art. I will do this to songs where I don't like the original art. You could even tag the song with a pic of your dog. Here's how to do it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8khNxTBQME

This method means you don't need to worry about attaching the pic into any folders since the song itself is tagged.

Revelations, I have been using a Thumb Drive. I will give this a try and report back. To be honest I haven't tried any CDs in the year I have had the new truck.

Well, I did it. I found a Windows app called MP3Tag. It lets you tag MP3 (and others) with just a few mouse clicks. Tagged all the files on a USB stick and they work like a charm. The app lets you tag a file with any art you choose.

No biggie. I've been in the tech field for over 15 years. You learn a thing or two ;). What's really funny is that the entune units will read deleted files like a data recovery program. I noticed that after I deleted some off my usb drive and it still showed up on the radio. Normally, windows removes the linking on any files marked for deletion so they don't show up to you anymore. The files don't actually get erased until the memory block gets written over. Well, the entune unit doesn't care about the linking at all. It does a full disk scan and still picks up files. Only way to get rid of it is a format of the usb stick.
