    Hi.
I have been staking about this site since I got my 2011 Taco in 2013. There is a lot of knowledge out there and I am hopeful someone can help me out here.

I installed a set of PAII 520 Extreme White lights on my truck and wired them into the fuse box with a fuse tap. I ran the switch through the firewall and it sits in the cubby in front of the interior fuse box unattached until I get everything sorted.

The problem is this. The lights and fuse tap worked great at first. I tapped into the high beam fuse and all was working fine. Then, I had thelow beams on and the fog lights on, and also the switch on for the driving lights. My thinking was that when I went to high beams the fogs would go off, the high beams and driving lights would come on. When I flipped the high beams on, the 10amp fuse blew on the tap.

I replaced the fuses on the tap upgrading to 15amp from 10amp. Lights still did not come on although the switch from the relay shows power. I checked the fuse in the relay (30amp) and that is intact and was not blown.

No fuses are blown, and I am stuck wondering what to check next. I am not very educated about electrical systems...as you can tell.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks
    Todd

To be clear, the high beams and low beams and the fog lights all still work as original.
