Picking up my MGM Limited...first impressions

Well at least its not an expensive add on, I see them on ebay for about $3.00

 

The first siting of a new Tacoma will be this Thursday (1 only ) the dealerships are holding back so they can get rid of the 2015s which is why the Canadian web site is still NOT up yet..

 

mmmmm...leather.

 

They should have put this same grille on all the Tacomas..

 

@VinTaco are you looking at purchasing a 2016? I am looking to purchase a 2016 and am basically looking for the dealer that will give the best deal. Going for the Limited...

 

Would be interested if you can recommend a dealer in your area.

I am on the Island and we have limited choices over here...

 

anyway you can take a pic of the backside of the rearview homelink mirror?

here is the connector for the standard rearview mirror.

just wanting to know if the power connector is the same for the standard mirror vs the homelink mirror, so I can do an easy swap since non limited Tacoma's don't come with homelink.

You can check with others first to make sure you are getting the best deal... I already have a black AC OR on order from a month ago so just waiting for it to come in..

There is a guy in Toronto saying that dealerships there are offering $2000.00 off of MSRP for PRE ORDERS even though MSRP is not posted yet. He is on one of the other Canadian Threads, sweet deal if it's true...

 

$2000 off a 2016..?? hmmm hard to believe but if its true I would definitely tell my sales guy about it..

The 2000 off can work out to more or less, even though we don't know MSRP, my dealer and I agreed to X above invoice. We are assuming the spread between invoice and MSRP will be the same or very similar to the Gen 2. On a base vehicle (2wd, 4cyl. there is not much margin) but on the sport 4X4 or limited 4X4 there is more margin and getting 2000 off is not hard if you buy one of the more expensive models. I sent you a PM 8102.

 

Nice. It does appear that a homelink equipped mirror could just be swapped in. Any idea how much Toyota will want for one of those mirrors?
