    OEM running boards are way too high. Just useless really. Does anyone know if they are adjustible, as in can they be lowered?

    no they can't be lowered. My wife's grandfather took these off and took the brackets to someone with a welder. They cut the existing bracket in half. Then took a piece of metal, bent it to match the bracket and welded it together. Once painted, he put them back on. Boom, they're now about 3 inches lower.

    Ground clearance could be an issue if you lower them too much. My Tundra had the OEM running boards and I took a turn over a curb and destroyed one. I have the rounder steps and I don't use them (I'm 6'10") but my wife loves them. They also make it easier to wash the top of the cab.
