Blow outs in KO2s or KOs? KOs are known to have weak sidewalks and are susceptible to blow outs, KO2s were supposed to solve that issue. Watch the KO2 YouTube video and they show the test that shredded the KO while the KO2 rolls over with no issue.

I wheel in volcanic sharp rock and have not had a problem with C-load BFG KM2s or KO2s. I'll never run KOs again.

Got 255/85/16s installed today. Stock Pro suspension except for a 1" block in the back. I'm happy with this. Doesn't look like it will rub anywhere from my initial playing around in the driveway. Rear clears the front side of the flare at full stuff with about 1/4-3/8" to spare. The front has no problems at all, but I leave the swaybar on.

Definitely more noticeable, but I haven't been on the highway yet. It isn't bad though, probably not any louder than the exhaust.

Seems to be normal, but I've literally only driven 10 miles. I will report back in a few days to let you know.

The BFG KM2s are a great tire, one of my favorites. They are very low road noise compared to other MTs. Grip and handling is good, though they do significantly benefit from siping the center tread blocks, as large blocks tend to do poorly in wet/slick conditions. Siping the centers gives more biting edges for those conditions, while the full blocks on the edges provide better stability and durability off road.

Where do you buy it from? The ones on Fleabay requires welding.

I do love the KM2's but as far as I know they don't make them in 255

Go up 10 posts and you'll see where I just got the 255/85/16 KM2s installed. Unless you meant another 255 size option.

I wish they made the KO2 in 255. I wasn't crazy about going to an MT but it seems like that's all you get in that size

You can get the Cooper S/T and S/T MAXX in that size. They're both ATs. No KO2s though...yet.

The ONLY downside I've found is that it doesn't go wheel to wheel. This past Sunday I had the passenger rail up against a tree, and once I got past the kickout, the tree came in and contacted the body at the lower corner of the cab and the front side of the rear flare. Scuffing and a small dent, but if the kickout had been further towards the rear I don't think it would have happened.
