Z Nation season 2 starts tonight on Syfy!

For those of you zombie fans that have not watched Z Nation, it is the other end of the spectrum from TWD. Where TWD is a drama, Z Nation is a light hearted, tongue in cheek style zombie action show. It is very Romero-esque and strives to give you all the zombie killing action sequences you can ask for. If you are a fan of the Romero movies, or even the B-rated zombie flicks, you will enjoy this show.

I really enjoyed season 1 as it had the Friday timeslot, and then I got to finish out the weekend with TWD on Sundays. Check it out tonight! If you need to catch up before season 2 starts, the first season is on Netflix.

I can't wait. I liked this show for it being so different than other zombie shows. SPOILERS: hope there's no babies this time around!

I'm exicted too. With the way season 1 ended, I am really curious as to how they will continue.

I'm looking foward to more Doc, 10,000, and Murphy, of course. :D

Glad to have this show back! So I guess the tactical nukes are smaller and are for more precision strikes? Murphy has shed all his dead skin and is now an even blue. I enjoyed how he went shopping and is really getting the hang of his power. That was funny to see him with his zombie entourage! That is actually a cool super power to have. I am glad he is the type of character that is always adding levity to the situation. He is powerful, but not a bad guy. The stripper pole scene was hilarious! Stuff like this we will never see on TWD, and that is quite alright with me. I was glad to see all group back together again.

Just keep in mind War that this show is not to be taken seriously. If you liked the Grind House: Planet Terror movie, you will enjoy this series. It is all about unique zombie killings, silly one-liners, and cliche characters. If you can accept all that, it's a really funny and action packed zombie show.

It is in the same vein as Evil Dead, now that I think about it.

Decent episode on Friday night. We lost another main cast character. :/ RIP Mack!

Great episode on Friday night! It was kind of a Mad Max style episode and introduced some new zombies that are mutated and extremely fast. They call them Blasters, because there were folks that were killed from the blast of the nukes and were within the radiation zone. Pretty freaky zombies. It's cool to have this show tackling all types of different zombies. It really gives it a nice change of pace from FTWD and TWD. Oh, and Z weed!!! Herb grown using zombies for compost. That's pretty awesome writing right there

I like the show more than TWD just because there aren't any annoying characters....TWD and FTWD always have those awful scenes that you just wanna fast forward all the time
