Picked up an 2004 about a month ago after lurking the shit outta this forum for a while. 4x4 Xtra-cab, 2.7L I4, 5-speed manual. Came with about 136K on it, an ARE topper, and Rhino lining.

I'm loving this truck. It reminds me of my '91 Toyota Pickup that I bought from a buddy for $500 bucks and looked like it was from beyond the thunderdome. I spent one cold and snowy winter living in that truck before I met my wife, and those were some of the best times of my life! Anyway, this '04 is perfect for me to carry equipment, drive around the farms, haul some light loads, throw the dogs in the back, go camping, and whatever the fuck else...super versatile!

I'd like to add a hitch so I can tow our motorcycles or the Sunfish. Have been referring to this thread to get my bearings:

Also thinking about putting a Thule rack on the cap so we can throw the bicycles/canoe/luggage on top. Would be super useful to have the extra space if we want to throw an air mattress in the bed or take the dogs on the road.

    Thanks y'all,
