So, I need a whole kit that has the feet and load bars? Or did I mis-understand what you said?
Or just the tracks, and NOT the feet or load bars?

Just the tracks. And most brands are the same thing. I haven't seen any that don't work.

Quick question. Do these have a lot of road noise like other racks?

Finally got the rack back on! With the light and deflector! My leg has been fucked up lately, so I am not into working on anything now days, but Ibuprofen and bourbon got me going.

Went a little different direction with the light bar mount. A local TW member has a plasma table, so he whipped out a couple of mounts for me yesterday. That table is awesome but only works with Windows 98 (!!!!!). I also put T-Slot cover thingies from Amazon in all bottom and front facing crossbar slots. Did a 10 mile loop around town with windows down and the noise is pretty much unnoticeable. It's crazy how much difference a deflector makes. haha

Just need to put on the top rac and wire up the light now.

@zscott , The cutout i'm seeing in the wind deflector, is that something offered from the factory, or is that something the customers are doing on their own? I really like your product and I'll be doing this when my budget allows.

They are available. Just let me know when you order. I have them stocked for a 40" and 30" range lightbar.

I don't have a dog in this hunt and I haven't seen one of thes racks in person but could that humming sound be some sort of harmonic vibration coming from the large deflector? I was thinking that an easy way to determine if it is would be to use some plastic spring clamps to clamp a piece of aluminum angle to the middle of the deflector down the length and then do some driving tests.

If that test determines that it is in fact the cause of the issue could a small strip be welded to the back of it either flat against it or at a 90° angle making a sort of "T" shape?

Again, I have never seen one in person - but I'd really like to - and I can tell lots of people are frustrated by this issue and the idea just came to me. If it's already been suggested then my apologies, but if it resolves your issue, well then, you're welcome. :taco:

I really don't think this has anything to do with a deflector. Mine is rock solid and makes no sound or vibration. My personal theory is that the slots in cross bars are the biggest cause. When I had the rack without the deflector it was crazy loud, so I put a foam pipe insulation on the front bar. It became much quieter, but had crazy cab vibrations around 35-45mph, so I took the rack off. I put it back on last night and did not really have time to get on the freeway yet, so more testing needs to be done, but with the deflector and t-slot cover thingies I barely heard any extra wind noise at all, even with the light bar installed.

Have a bunch of errands to run this afternoon, so I'll be on a freeway whole bunch today. Will see how it is.

For those of you that run RTT's on these racks, I am sure they get pretty gnarly and scratched up. The thread below came from an idea to protect the powder coated bed bars from being tore up by the rails under a RTT:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/kydex-bed-bar-protectors.393501/

I spoke with the manufacturer about getting a set made for my Prinsu rack and he said it can be done! We need at least 5 of the same size committed and they will be $5/piece.

    1" x 2" bars:

You can make these things yourself. Bunch of gun dudes use Kydex to make holsters. It's cheap and can be shaped into anything with a heat gun.
