wind noise with Yakima rack

I have a Yakima rack installed on my truck with the Q towers. I am getting wind noise where the clips are clipped on. I have tried both clipping them on and under the weather stripping, but neither seems to help.

Anybody else have/had the same issue?

 

I have 4 towers and I hear no noise at all......maybe worn weatherstripping? My truck has about 160,000 miles. Mine are installed over the strip also

 

That crossed my mind. My truck has over 325,000. I will go ahead and replace them. It couldn't hurt, anyway.

 

No wind noise at 176,000. Clips over weatherstripping.

 

I get wind noise with mine. can you guys post pictures of how yours are mounted. I am way more of a visual guy and just want to make sure i installed mine correct. thanks in advance.
