Alright, I'm running into a dead end. When I got my Tacoma a few weeks ago it had the utility track installed in the bed... cool because I do a bit of mountain biking and now I don't have to waste money on getting some custom rack placed into the bed. But I've run into a problem... I'm trying to find additional brackets to mount things into the utility track (fork mounts, front tire mounts, thru axle mounts, etc.) but I can't seem to find anything anywhere. I spoke with the parts department at the dealership here in Canton, MI and they seem to be clueless with what I'm talking about. They basically told me that the only way I can get the utility track bracket mounting hardware is to buy more accessories through Toyota... Sorry, but I'm not spending $200 just so I can get a couple .50 cent brackets and screws.
Have any of you ran into this problem? I went on a scavenger hunt at Home Depot today hoping to find something that would work but came up empty handed. What are you guys using to mount things in the utility track of your trucks?

T-SLOT nuts. They're sold a bunch of places online, or even some random hardware stores carry them (not HD or Lowes surprisingly). I'm a cheap bastard so I used some 1"x1/4" steel bar stock that I had laying around and I cut some pieces and drilled and tapped them and they work just as well. I think a 4' piece of it goes for somewhere under $20. Check your local metal supply warehouse... Or just by the t-slots. Easier, but they add up quick depending on how many you need.

I didn't see them in mine and asked about them. They took them out of another truck and gave them to me. I happened to find the one for my truck under the seat so now I have 8 of them. Check under the driver seat.

**EDIT: oh I think I misunderstood your first post. Thought you meant the d-rings that go in the rails!
